Weekend Update!
This post was originally written on April 19th.
If only I was Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Seth Meyers or ... but alas, I am not.
WORK WISE - Last week was a pretty crazy Monday to Friday with Everything that went on. The first two days of the week were pretty calm, but Wednesday through Friday were days where I was pulled in almost every direction and did not get a chance to finish a task. By Friday afternoon, a lot of my projects were not 100% complete and I was ready to throw in the towel've given how I was mentally exhausted. Hopefully this week has been much better since the boss lady was not in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday. This will give me time to concentrate on things.
ARUBA - As of tomorrow, it will be one month until family vacation in Aruba. I can not wait until Allan, Charlotte, and I get on a plane and head down to the beach for a few days. This is a trip I have been looking forward to for a few months now. We'll be staying at the Occidental Grand Resort and Casino. While I am not the gambling type, all I really want is a few days away from the city and the office.
CLEANING OUT THE CLOSET - These suits few weeks, Allan HAS BEEN kick on an organization. Last week, we organized our DVD collection. Most, if not all our DVDs were moved from the plastic cases to sleeves. This cleared up a lot of space, believe it or not. And as we were organizing, it was then and only then that i be realized how big my collection (not just Allan's, but MINE) was big. During the early 2000's, I was on a huge DVD kick and bought pretty much almost everything I liked. There were movies we had to rip open the plastic on, that's how big is my collection.
Anyhow, leading into the closet cleaning ... there's a charity by coming this week to pick up clothes and I figure, why not donate the stuff I have not worn and will likely never wear. It's just taking up space and lord knows I need more space since It seems like my clothing pile is rising and it Practically touching the bottom of my work clothes. I'll report in a new post on how this goes.
